Let’s just state the obvious that Escudero, cunning as a lawyer always is, knows exactly how to play it like “hey, I’m very much against GMA and her demon administration, so I’m on your side.” He knows exactly what the people surrounding him want to hear, so he piles it on! But all he ever does is gnaw, gnaw, gnaw at the administration. (Fyi, I’m not pro-administration, but I wouldn’t waste my time to be anti either. It’s just adding to wasted time and taxpayer money.)

The reason Filipinos are so screwed up when it comes to voting is that too little critical thought is put into the selection of whom to vote for. And too many of us do it that way. What evidence do I have that we’re terrible at this? Just look at the last 5 decades and see how “well” we’ve chosen our leaders!

To be clear, I fully agree with lpgd.

I don’t care about patok, about what’s popular, about what everybody else decides to choose. My personal selection process doesn’t include jumping onto the bandwagon, which means I don’t pick my pick the lazy, irresponsible, zero-accountability way.

Let’s face it – voting for a candidate because it is the popular vote is simply letting everyone else determine the vote, and that’s just not owning up. And pardon my French, but that pisses me off.

Tama ka Ramon B. Hindi nakakatulong si Chiz sa Bicol. Kaya kahit kapwa ko sya Bicolano hindi pa rin ako sure if iboboto ko sya. pag araaralan ko muna ng husto ang magiging plano at plataporma niya lalong lalo na para sa Bicol. Parang kasing magaling lang sya makipagbalagtasan.

Alam niyo, hindi ko talaga maintindihan kung bakit naniniwala ang masa at bilib na bilib sila kay CHIZ. Hindi niyo ba nakikita kung gaano KAKULELAT ang karamihan sa mga district na sakop ng posisyon niya? NAPAKAHIRAP pa rin ng Bicol kasi ni hindi niya gustong tumulong o pumasa ng bill na makakatulong sa Bicol region.
Pwede sana magpasa ng bill na piliting ibaba ang bayad sa kuryente sa Bicol, pero ayaw niya gawin. Hindi niyo ba alam na mas mataas ang singil sa kuryente sa Bicol kaysa sa Maynila? Hindi niyo ba alam na pwede sanang malutas ang problemang ito sa paggamit ng Geothermal plants sa Bicol?

Sa facebook at pati dito, sinasabi mo na hindi makakapagsalita si Senador Chiz Escudero tungkol sa kanyang mga plano at plataporma dahil bawal ito sa batas.

Hindi po labag sa batas panghalalan ang sinasabi niyong paglalahad ng plano at plataporma ng mga kandidato para sa ating bansa.

Kahit sino, mahirap o mayaman, malaki man or maliit, payat o mataba, ay pwedeng magsalita tungkol sa mga problema at solusyon sa mga ito, sa kahit anong oras at panahon.

Ang labag po sa batas, at klarong-klaro sa ito ayon kay Senador Miriam Defensor Santiago, ay ang paulit-ulit at padalas ng padalas na paglabas ng komersyal tungkol sa buwa, itik, at padyak. Ito iyong mga political ads.

At isa pa, kahit hindi political ads, nakakababa sa dignidad ng senado bilang institusyon ang ipahiram ang mukha ng isang senador para sa komersyal kung saan nagbebenta sila pampa… pampaputi ng balat (Loren) at pampa-sigla ng dugo (Chiz)…

Hindi po nararapat na magmukhang arbolaryo ang mga senador…

Kung wala man sa titik ng batas ang pagbabawal sa mga senador na lumabas sa komersyal, malilinang natin na hindi rin nararapat na maging salesman ang politiko…

Dahil mas malamang kaysa sa hindi, huwad ang mga sinasabi nito at malamang mapahamak pa ang bumili ng produktong nilalako…
