Bwisit!

This country is going downhill fast thanks to our honorable leaders. Why the hell would anyone tinker with the constitution at this time? For economic reforms? Reform my a__. With the haste with which our honorable administration solons approved Resolution 1109 it has become very clear that something evil is afoot.

Did anyone check if any of these honorable congressmen bothered to ask their constituents what they felt about this whole Con-Ass and Cha-Cha issue? Not a single person in my neighborhood was consulted about this. So is amending the constitution the people’s will?

And what of Senator Mar Roxas and other politicians who have now conveniently found another issue to use to bolster their own agenda. If  you sirs and madams were really against this insidious scheme then you should have done more to stop it. Perhaps if you weren’t too busy acting out your roles and instead actually performed them then maybe we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in right now.

There’s a list of congressmen who voted for Resolution 1109. Can we all please consider not re-electing any of these people or their relatives and allies ever again.

I hope it has become clear right now that politicians will not get us out of the sh__hole we are in.

Sa mga masang damang dama ang kanilang pagiging masa… siguro naman malinaw na na mahalaga ang ating mga boto sa halalan. Pahalagahan natin ito at huwag nating basta bastang ibigay sa kandidato dahil lamang sa pogi o maganda sila; palangiti at palabati sa mga tao; o simpatiko ang dating. Mas mahalaga na suriin natin ang kanilang mga nagawa na (para sa mga beteranong opisyal) at higit sa lahat kung ano nga ba ang kanilang pinaplanong gawin (para sa mga beterano at bagito).

Maging mapagbantay din sa kanilang mga sinasabi. Mas malamang sa hindi bobolahin lang nila tayo. Mas maganda kung matatanong natin sila kung bakit nga ba talaga sila tumatakbo. Maganda rin malaman kung paano nila susugpuin ang katiwalian sa pamahalaan.

Sana sa darating na halalan (kung matutuloy pa ito) maihalal naman natin ang mga tunay na makakabuti para sa bansa at sa ating lahat.
